When I was growing up, Thanksgiving dinner was always at 2:00. It may have started when everyone traveled to my Grandma’s house Thanksgiving morning, so we wouldn’t have to get up so early. Or maybe it was to give the cook more cooking time for all of the fabulous Thanksgiving dishes.
The tradition has since gone by the wayside since my brother and I had kids (toddlers are notoriously rigid about mealtimes…mine are now far from that age, but my brother’s are young!)
With such a large meal now at lunchtime, we often only need a light dinner and that’s where a charcuterie board is a perfect addition to the spread! Tasty, cute, and totally customizable, this one is sure to complete anything Thanksgiving celebration!
