It’s Valentine’s Day! Is there any more perfect day for Chocolate Dipped Strawberries?
And since Valentine’s falls on a Sunday, Romantic Valentines treats are also the theme for this week’s Sunday Funday!
Here’s what everyone else whipped up:
Chocolate dipped strawberries don’t seem overly complicated, and they’re really not, but it’s all about finding the right chocolate. Unless you’re an expert at tempering chocolate (which I am not), your best bet is chocolate candy melts (or melting wafers or chocolate candy bark). All of these melt smoothly and dry nicely.
Next it’s a simple matter of decorating! I used gold sprinkles and hearts for Valentine’s.
Or, if you really want to go all out, dip the strawberries in white chocolate first, let it dry and then dip in chocolate to make a tuxedo pattern. Finally add heart “buttons”. So cute!
