During the Christmas season,
Eggnog usually reigns king among the yuletide beverages. But oftentimes, I want something
festive and warm.
Cue Butterscotch Hot
Chocolate! It’s simple to whip up and
delicious to enjoy.

What a fantastic idea! This sounds so much nicer than egg nog :)
ReplyDeleteI love butterscotch and this sounds so good but what are butter shots and how do I get them?
ReplyDeleteButtershots are also sold as Butterscotch Schnapps. It should be available at any liquor store (or grocery store if you live in an area where grocery store sell liquor!)
DeleteI was about to ask the same thing - will definitely have to make a stop into the liquor store soon :)
DeleteSounds yummy! I love hot chocolate! Do you think Torani syrup would work instead of the butter shots?

Hi! It's Jilly
Absolutely! I start with less than I have noted in the recipe, since syrups can be much more concentrated, and add more to taste!
