This post first appeared on my other blog in 2016, but since I no longer maintain that one, I'm reposting some of my favorites here!
Today I’m sharing some easy peasy St. Patrick’s Day Cookies!
My boys took these to school to share with their classmates
and they helped make them!
To make these, add green gel food coloring to your favorite
sugar cookie recipe . Roll, cut with a shamrock cutter, cook
according to recipe instructions & cool.
Then, pipe a thick arch of stiff royal icing (or butter cream
or any thick frosting) and add mini M&Ms or sprinkle to make a rainbows
(that’s where the kids can help).
Lastly, add different sized sugar pearls for clouds on either end of the
rainbow.
Let the icing dry before storing.
