Every once in a while I end up with a cake project that only uses a small amount of cake for someone else and then I have leftovers to use for my own family!
Recently I had just a little chocolate cake left. I was sick over my birthday and thought maybe I’d make myself a belated birthday cake, but I couldn’t think of how I wanted to decorate it.
So I asked Spud, who is pretty artistic and often has fun ideas. Then I remembered that Spud is 13 and heavily focused on sports. And that’s how I ended up making a Minnesota Timberwolves cake instead of a birthday cake. Haha!
Well, I did ask him to challenge me and this certainly did! Plus it was a our favorite cake, so no complaint here!
