You guys. Dude is 16.
16!!!!!!!
This isn’t his birthday cake (it’s actually for a classmate of his who turned 16 earlier this year who’s mom I’m friends with, but that's beside the point).
When I first started this blog, Dude was 2. He has grown into such a great young man but I still can’t believe he’s 16 - almost an adult!
Anyway, this cake throws back to a Spongebob episode when Pearl turns 16. It’s a whole thing that ends with these fish boy-band guys singing a 16th birthday song…thus the cake.
It’s actually pretty hilarious. I was happy that I understood the reference right away, as a Spongebob fan myself from back in the day!
