First Communion Cake with Cross and Dove

This post first appeared on my other blog in 2016, but since I no longer maintain that one, I'm reposting some of my favorites here!

Today’s cake was for a First Communion/Confirmation.

Since it was a formal occasion, we kept the cake simple and elegant with just a cross and dove in neutral colors.

I added a border of sugar pearls and a border of flowers to elevate the design, just a bit!
