How about an adorable Little Ghost Cake for your next Halloween party?
This time of year, I often have small amounts of cake leftover from larger baking projects and love making fun little cakes with the leftovers.
For this one, I had some chocolate cake leftover, then I made chocolate frosting with extra dark cocoa powder - that's right - NO food coloring of photo editing for that black frosting!
After frosting, I used the back of a spoon to spread white candy melts (or almond bark) in little ghost shapes onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Once dry, I placed them (with chocolate chip eyes) onto the cake along with candy eyes. Simple and perfect for the season!
