Oh boy. It’s Sunday Funday and the theme is National Raspberry Cake day. But reading comprehension wasn’t strong when I was recipe planning and guess who made Raspberry Froyo instead?
Yup.
Thankfully the hostess, Camilla from Culinary Adventures with Camilla is awesome and understanding and let this one fly. Ice cream (...or frozen yogurt…) goes with cake…right?
The best part about this frozen yogurt is that it’s super simple and you don’t even need an ice cream machine!
Three great ingredients and three great serving options.
Blended as is, it is a fantastic smoothie consistency and can be enjoyed immediately.
Placed in a zipper freezer bag and kneaded every 20 minutes for about 1.5 hours, a great soft serve option is achieved (as pictured). Left to freeze solid, it’s a equally tasty scoopable frozen yogurt!

Healthy Raspberry Frozen Yogurt (Only 3 Ingredients!)
Adapted slightly from As Easy As Apple Pie
6 ounces frozen raspberries
1 (5.3 ounce) container nonfat plain Greek Yogurt
3 tablespoons honey
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Enjoy as is with a smoothie texture or pour into a zipper bag and freezer for 1-2 hours, removing the bag and kneading the frozen bits in every 20 minutes until desired consistency is achieved.
What a great summer recipe Amy.
ReplyDeleteI have never made anything like this! I am SO glad to have this recipe. I will be trying it soon. I brought home three jars of honey from Hawaii. So, I might make a tropical version of this. Thanks for joining me.
ReplyDeletePlease Amy pass that cone right away... so tempting and perfect for the hot summers. Like how easy the recipe is.
