Let’s talk Meat & Cheese Platters! That’s this week’s #HandCraftedEdibles theme,
after all!
I love meat & cheese trays because they’re so incredibly versatile!
I called today’s tray a game day platter because I whipped
this up while we watched the Green Bay Packer Game last week. But it also works well for board game nights
with friends. Or Thanksgiving snackies,
or Christmas parties! Or even use a
disposable or inexpensive tray and bring it as a hostess gift! There’s end to the meat and cheese tray’s
usefulness.
Plus, you can use whatever meats and cheese you have on
hand! There’s no need for special tools,
just roll the meats and cut the cheeses into triangles and you’re all set! I also like to add some fresh fruit for a
little extra variety and that pop of color.
Here’s what’s on my tray:
Meats:
Dry Salami
Black Pepper Dry Salami
Teriyaki Beef Sticks
Dry Coppa
Prosciutto
Cheeses:
Baby Bel Cheese
Colby-jack
Cheddar
Swiss
Goat Cheese
Crackers:
Bacon Ritz
Pita Chips
Pretzel Sticks
Saltines
Garnishes:
Sweet Peppers
Cherry Tomatoes
Strawberries
Grapes
But wait! There's More!
