When I made the Caramelized Onion & Feta Crusted Steaks, I couldn’t resist also trying the Steakhouse
Mushrooms along with them.
These mushrooms are the
perfect accompaniment to any steak.
Simply seasoned, and absolutely delicious!
Steakhouse Mushrooms
Recipe from Taste of Home,
December/January 2013 issue
1 lb button mushrooms, wiped
clean
¼ cup butter, cubed
2 tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp seasoning salt
¼ tsp garlic powder
Heat the butter in a non
stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add
the mushrooms, and cook until tender, 5-7 minutes.
Add the seasonings and stir
to combine. Cover and reduce heat to
low. Cook for 3-5 more minutes to allow
the flavors to blend. Serve with steaks.
Makes 4 side dish servings

Hi Amy! I found your mushrooms at Just Us Four's 4/23 linky party and wanted to stop by to say they sound delish. BBQing is in high gear here, so I can't wait to try these out atop our steaks. YUM! Thanks for sharing and take care!
