Ground hog day is not usually a big deal
at my house, but these little guys were just too cute to pass up! A Nilla Wafer ground hog peeking out of
pudding dirt? I ate two…urm…I mean, the
kids loved these!
Recipe Notes:
*The ground hogs can be made ahead of time, but the treats
should be assembled just before serving (otherwise the cookies get mushy).
Ground Hog Pudding Cups
Adapted from Domesticated Lady
12 Chocolate Chips
4 Nilla Wafers
12 Mini chocolate chips
2 Oreo cookies
4 chocolate pudding cups (I
used Snack Pack Brownie Mix)
Place 4 of the regular
chocolate chips in a small microwave safe bowl.
Microwave at 30 second increments until the chocolate is melted.
Dip the mini chocolate
chips into the melted chocolate and place on Nilla wafers to make a face. Dip the remaining chocolate chips into the
melted chocolate and place on the back of the Nilla wafers to form ears.
Place each Nilla wafer
ground hog into a cup of pudding.
Using a mini food processor
(or a rolling pin) crush the Oreos into a fine crumb. Sprinkle the Oreo crumbs on top of the
pudding, around the ground hog.
Serves 4
These are the cutest things I've ever seen. Great work!
